These terms cover your use of this website and your bookings with The Grove (108 Napier Lake Rd, Hohenwald, TN 38462). By booking a campsite or rental, or using this site, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, call 931-796-3919 before you book.
Bookings & payment
Campsite stays and kayak/canoe rentals are paid in full at booking, processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Prices include applicable Tennessee sales tax as shown at checkout. Availability shown online is live, and a booking is confirmed only when payment succeeds. Cancellations follow our refund policy.
Campground rules
Check-in and check-out times, quiet hours, and site rules are posted at the store and included with your confirmation. Sites accommodate the guest count given at booking. You're responsible for your site, your guests, and your gear; please leave the site as you found it.
River activities & assumption of risk
Paddling, swimming, and other river activities carry inherent risks — moving water, weather, submerged objects — that no outfitter can eliminate. By renting from us you confirm that every participant can swim, will wear the provided life jacket on the water, and accepts these inherent risks. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. We may refuse or cut short rentals when conditions are unsafe (with a refund per our refund policy). A signed liability waiver may be required at pickup.
Rental gear
Boats, paddles, and life jackets are checked out for the day and due back at the scheduled pickup. You're responsible for gear lost or damaged beyond normal wear.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Tennessee law allows, The Grove's liability for any claim arising from a booking or rental is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version posted here applies to new bookings. These terms are governed by Tennessee law.
